PIZZA REPUBLIC

There is this new place that everyone is talking about here  in Metro Cebu and of course I can't pass up the opportunity to visit the place right?
It is called...
               PIZZA REPUBLIC. Pick + Mix
It is located in Salinas Dr, Lahug, Cebu City (across Golden Courie).

This new place has become a HIT for the Cebuano Foodie who loves PIZZA <3
They have a one size pizza that cost P245.00/each
You can have a palate adventure with picking, mixing and matching ingredients as you please.
It could be a hit and miss kind of pizza output but the fun is on the unlimited toppings you can put on your pizza.

My clique (barkada) went out to check the place.
I was the one who was most eager to try it out so they gave me the chance to be the COOK/EXPERIMENTer(if there is such a word xD)
Not knowing how the outcome would taste like made me nervous and worried for my friends' tummies but the good news is.. they have survived!
*clap clap clap* One pizza turned out to be sweet, the other was salty, and the last one was too bland.
HAHAHAH I have no idea how that happened but I'm quite excited to come back to this place and have another try... my experiment in Pizza Making!

If you're up to some palate adventure with Pizza, YOU better visit this place!
It's fun, cozy and yummy which is a perfect combination.

Korean Cafe in Cebu: (3) Cafe Tiala

This is my last feature on Korean Cafes in Cebu since I haven't visited any new ones yet (I won't feature Cafe Noriter since I have unwanted emotional memories there, sorry. I'm immature that way) but I will continue the list with other cafes (2 more to be exact) that I have been to.

Now for the #3 in the list is CAFE TIALA.
This Korean cafe has been slowly gaining popularity in Cebu City for its uniqueness from other Korean Cafes which is they princess-maid-style set up.  I find their range really affordable in contrast to their extravagant look. It is quite obvious that girls are the ones mostly flocking the place but there are also brave guys who tend to visit and actually enjoyed the food, ambiance, and service of Cafe Tiala.
The sight that will welcome you.

Cafe Tiala is located at the 2nd Floor of The Forum Bldg., Archbishop Reyes Ave., Cebu City, Philippines. (just a little walk from Ayala Center Cebu)
Store Hours: Everyday 10:00 AM – 12:00 Midnight.
They cater on different kinds of Korean foods like pickled vegetables, ramen, knick-knacks, etc., and they also have their yummy frappes and varied kind of tea to go with it.

If you want to eat the usual Korean foods I recommend this place but for me they need to level-up a bit for their Menu with the food but to their frappes and teas *clap clap clap* I am well pleased by it. Their tea is really relaxing and have some healthy effects to ones body and their frappe..oh frappes.. they just.. YUM! GREAT! They have actually hit perfectly that sweet tooth spot I have, well done.

The place is different when it is compared to the other Korean Cafes. Cafe Tiala eliminates having the concept of having post-its on its wall but rather having a clean-pinkish-princess color and ambiance. They keep their set up to a minimum which is actually very pleasing to the eyes. They have two decks for the customers to use. The lower deck is compromised of rows of cubicles that gives privacy for the customer while the upper deck is an open-terrace style sitting.
They customers are being served by maid-style servers well for this I was kind of disappointed. I have been reading Manga with maid heroine on them so I have kind of expected much but oh well *shrugs off*

What's different with CAFE TIALA from other Korean Cafes?
When you first enter the shop, you could already see the different of set-up and service crew. BOOM! That can make girls go jigiddy all over with thrilled.
Their menu is also done in a very unique way. Rather than having in written on a small black board or having it in a laminated style, Cafe Tiala is having their menu inside a cute box and each order is placed on a small cue card type. It is really adorable that makes you get all excited on picking your orders from it.
They also have other services like you could borrow some of their stuffs like their hair iron/curler, panda-pajamas, their built-in flat screen tv, heater, and many more for FREE! isn't that amazing?! :D

For a student's point of view in the depth of one's pocket, this place gets a two thumbs up. So, get moving and check it out! :)

Korean Cafe in Cebu: (2) Sunday 2pm Cafe

To continue with my Korean Cafes in Cebu List, we go to our #2 which is SUNDAY 2PM CAFE :)

Don't be deceived by its name 'cause it is open daily with varying store hours of course.
Store Hours: Mondays - Saturdays, 10:00 am - 11:00 pm
                       Sundays, 2:00 pm - 11:00 pm
Sunday 2pm Cafe is located at Sarrosa Hotel, Mabolo City, Cebu, Philippines.
They cater on different kinds of Hot and Cold Coffee Drinks, Cold Juice Drinks, different Frappes, and Cakes & Pastries.

Sunday 2pm Cafe is one of my favorite Korean Cafes in Cebu. I'm a little bias with this one.
The cafe interior is really cute, adorable, cozy and really homey for a Cafe. They only have 13 seats inside their shop though.
They have 2 staffs plus the korean owner. You could find them very much adorable, attentive, and friendly which is such a 'POGI' points for their shop.
Unlike other Korean cafes that gives a maximum of 3 hours per order of a customer, you could actually stay here for longer periods of time. One doesn't need to dry out his pockets to stay here.

In their set-up they included bookshelves on the walls. These books can be borrow and/or rented by the customers as they pleases. They also have post-its for the customers to express themselves while they are taking their time lounging in the cafe. Customers can also have their pictures taken via DSLR and/or Polariod cam. Pictures taken from the DSLR would be posted on their page which is https://www.facebook.com/sunday2pmcafe?fref=photo while those that are taken via Polariod can be taken at home or just post it inside the shop, though with this the customer needs to pay P70.00 per shot. Wifi and Electrical extensions are also available for the customer's comfortability.

customer can borrow/rent their books
(they have English and Korean books)

Now for the most awaited part the FOODS & DRINKS.
They have varied cakes and pastries available for the customer that ranges from P120.00 - P150.00+.
Don't get discouraged with its price for I can stay that it is quite gratifying especially their PANINIS (my favorite).
With your first bite, you can't stop yourself from taking one after the other. You need great self-control to stop your self from devouring everything all at once.
One can't forget their drinks...oh their drinks... ohh their Ice Caramel Machiatto, a favorite of mine.
Their drinks can range to ice/cold coffee... to frappes... to juice drinks. Take your pic and they'll serve it to you with such heavenly taste.
Their snow toast (P120.00)

They have varied kinds of toasts.

Ham and Cheese Panini (P150.00)
They have 3 kinds of Panini to choose from

They have different kinds of frappes to choose from.
Say 'HI' to my Beast--Kia.
Kia is a dear friend of mine. She was the one who have introduced this place to me. It is all thanks to her that I have discovered this place.
Sunday 2pm Cafe has become our (secret-not-so-secret-anymore) meeting place to hang out.

From left to right: Deks, Kitkit, Myself, and Xhan
Be sure to bring your friends to have a more fun experience.

For a student like me, this is already a splurge that I don't and won't ever regret.
It is shop that has a homey feel to it and that is one of the most important things to consider.
When you've got the time and means, do visit it and you'll surely enjoy.

Korean Cafes in Cebu: (1) Cafe Namoo

From time to time, I've been jumping around Korean Coffee shops in Cebu,Philippies.
It has been a while since I've posted something in an actual blog so this will be my opening-thingy post. I shall post about a few of the Korean Cafes that I have been to here in Cebu, Philippines. Let me say it is just a FEW since my financial source is not really that deep and my student's pocket easily bleeds.

Cafe Namoo is one of the popular ones. I got no actual plan of visiting this shop since I'm not a fan of crowded (cafe) shops. But then again, I need to visit this some time sooner or later to scratch this off from my list of 'Cebu Cafes' :D
Korean (inspired) Cafes are now a hit in Cebu especially for high school and/or college students and Cafe Namoo is one of those cafes that made a HIT on the customer palate. Cafe Namo has two branches that is located at 2nd Floor Northgate Centre Banilad Cebu City (Across Country Mall/ Beside UC Banilad) and in Cebu Time Square Mandaue (Across Parkmall Mandaue City).

My Cafe Namoo Experience (branch: Cebu Time Square Mandaue City) :
The shop is really adorable and cute minus the crowd of people that vain people would like to just take pictures in every corners they could possibly pose.
The drinks are highly recommendable that you couldn't stop taking sips one after another. A guy friend of mine that seriously picky about his drinks and food describe it as 'finding heaven after taking each sips' but well...I find it too pricey. It could make a student's pocket like mine bleed :D
One disappointing thing (for my techy friend), they don't have any WiFi which has been a must for all 'chill-out' places. That kind thing of took me by surprise. oh well. :D I'm not a fan of wifi-ing much. It didn't bother me at all. The other branch in Banilad actually offer WiFi.

All in all if you have sufficient enough CASH source and looking for a fun and adorable ambiance...well GO AHEAD be sure to share your experience with friends! :D
